Newbee here with some questions looks like i am surronded my alot of smart jet ski people here i have a 95 xp boggs on take off but runs great other than that i would appericate any advice

I HAVE CLEANED CARBS TWICE IN ONE DAY TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE CLEAN. I HAVE CLEAN THE TANK,FUEL SELECTOR,SENDING UNIT AND ALL THE LINES BUT I HAVE NOT REPLACE THE LINES THEY ARE THE GRAY ONES. i DIDN'T KNOW TILL READINGS SOME OF THESE POST THAT I NEEDED TO REPLACE THEM. IF U FEATHER THE THROTTLE PAST 1/4 IT IS GREAT FROM 1/4 TO FULL THROTTLE

No it is if u let it idle at all it like it loads up but it not like its smoking bad or any thing if you just jump on and go it is just fine but i cant let it idle for more that 10-20 seconds

High Speed is usually Zero and Low Speed is 1 1/2 turns I believe.

Close... on the 95 xp... the low should be 1-3/4 turns, and 0 on the high.

You have a slight lean spot in your tuning. More fuel via the low needle will help you out.

One stupid question though... are these the XP carbs? If you swapped them with carbs from any other 720 engine... your main jet will be too small. Most of the 720 engines got a 130 main... but he 95 xp got a 137.5. (don't know why)

Good luck
luck

They are the original carbs. I did check the low speed and it was 1 1/2 turns out so i went too 1 3/4 per book and every ones advice is a 1/4 of a turn enough to effect any thing?
