95 Speedster blown MPEM Fuse

The fuse for my port MPEM keeped blowing. I check the MPEM side of the fuse and it has a direct short to ground. This boat has sat for 2 years after the bearing siezed on the port shaft and remove the hose flange from the hull. I decided to get the thing running this year and found Seadoo has a really neat brass repair sleeve. Anyway I digress. My question is first on the 95 speedster where is the MPEM's. Second, do they short out internally or am i dealling with a short in the wire?

no, they short internally. deo a search on eBay for sea doo mpem repair. you will find allthingscustom's ad. he is the guy, the ONLY guy to talk to. he does the 5 amp fuse blown problem on seadoo mpems. his work is guaranteed and the real guarantee is like snap-on tools. you are guaranteed not to need the guarantee. the mpem is in the big box on the front wall of the engine compartment. the 2 mpems are together in 1 unit, i think.
