95 hx stalls at 1/2 throttle

have 95 hx that still has grey fuel lines, will only run (but stalls) on reserve all lines and carbs are clean have paid a premium dealer 3 times to fix still has issues never fixed, i think it is a fuel problem all cylinders are 150 psi,

things they did
1. test pop up valves
2. test psi on cylinders (good)
3. reset all high and low jets
4. make sure all lines and carbs were clean i double checked
5. inline fuel filter is clean too

ski runs great out of water

any suggestions? some one said check rev limiter?impeller 1mm?

now when in water it stutters a little bit may surge off then
will run at 1/2 speed no sputtering?

Check the fuel selector valve or just bypass it.
Check the fuel filter body for cracks and make sure the O-ring is sealing.
Check the gas cap and see if it is sealing.

Are you sure they cleaned the carbs...mostly the internal filters?

Get rid of those Grey lines!!!!!!!

checked all except fuel switch works on reserve

fuel selector works on reseve but stalls at 1/2 throttle

will get rid of lines but that is not a issue no crud in system

If your ski runs fine on reserve then it is the selector valve. I have two 94 SPX that I cleaned the selector valves last year and the still did not work properly. the rubber inside was frayed and worn. I bought 3 of them last year.
You can bypass the selector valve by going straight into the filter from the "on" and then to the carb, or wait until tomorrow when I get home. I have one that will fit your ski that I will be glad to give you. It is NIB.

95 doent run well on reserve it stalls at 1/2 throttle but doesnt sputter just runs at 1/2 throttle could it bew wear ring ?

Were the carbs ever cleaned and rebuilt. I had similar problem with my 95 xp. I rebuilt the carbs, changed the internal filters and removed the jets to blow them out. Ski ran great after that.

Also get rid of those lines because you will do all this work and when they do go, it will gum up the carbs and they will need to be cleaned out again

took it to dealer 3 times and we all checked it and they said they checked the psi on pop up valvles too, go figure ?

How does it start and idle? If it starts good and idles fine, your popoff pressure (N/S and Spring) are probably correct.

After I changed out my gray fuel lines, I took apart the carbs 3 times after rebuild because they kept getting gummed up with the crap that was left in the fuel system. Now the fuel system is clean and no more crap.

I would pull the carbs, check the internal filters again, blow out the high and low speed jets with come carb cleaner, and clean out your fuel selector valve again.

the carbs are super clean ski runs fine on idle and will rev up out of water no problem when in water it acts up?? checked all so far inside filters are brand newmabe something else i cant figure out and the dealrer i took too for past 3 months hasnt figured out it ran good one day and the next i did take to dealer said it was all gumeed up but they cleaned out maybe theres some trash they didnt get??

Well my ski was surging at WOT and would only run about 3/4 speed even after rebuilding the carbs. I took them back apart, blew out the high and low speed jets with carb cleaning and it ran like a champ after that.

Hey Alphasource,
There is something that we are missing. Your ski idles fine and runs fine up to 1/2 throttle. This tells me that fuel is being slightly restricted somewhere.
I am tending to agree with Moto. I will bet something very small got overlooked.

Have you pulled the fuel baffle out of the tank yet?
Some models have a screen on the bottom that gets clogged up
