95 gtx reving fast by it self

I just put the battery in it for the first time thid year it runs fine for 10 seconds then starts reving very fast on its own so i just shut it off any ideas?

Welcome to the seadoo forum.cfanuce69. Was it on the trailer when it did this. It just might be running lean. Check for any air leaks around the carbs intake. Spray wd-40 around the carbs and cylinder base. If it revs up where you spray it, you found the leak.
