94XP slower after wear ring replacement

Hey all! I recently replaced the wear ring, motor mounts, exhaust manifold, and pump bearings on my 94 XP and also realigned the drive shaft. The ski used to do 53 topped out but I can't seem to pass 48/49 now. Only other factor is the exhaust V band leaks a LITTLE now. Just enough for a drop of water every second and some smoke. The manifold to up pipe flange leaked before so it was never perfect.

Maybe my GPS speedometer was off before and i think that may be the case. Still is peppy and moves good. It Has rebuilt carbs that I did before when it was running 53. It has a solas 15-20 on it and sits around 6800 or so rpm's WOT. Anyway, I just wanted to know if there was any reason it would be slower even if the rpms are the same (not cavitating)

And does 48 sound like a healthy speed for a solas 15-20 on a 94 XP with the 657x?
