'94 XP tach - can it be opened up to change the clear glass face?

My tach has a crack in the face. I've looked for replacements but I can't find any with an orange needle - mine has an orange needle - all the ones I've found have white needles. If I buy a used one can I open it up and swap either the clear glass face OR the orange needle.

If it has a white face... it HAD an orange needle. I just faded to white.


The gauge is sealed... but if you want to open it... you can. BUT... it's not designed to.
