94 XP exhaust manifold - OEM part #979-141 sames as 6978-347???

Can anyone confirm if this is the same part #. My ski has 979-141 on it but I'm told 6978-347 is the identical part.

There were a few changes over the years... but as long is it bolts up... it will work.

I've discovered manifolds from about 1988 to 1995 all have the same bolt on setup, however, different engines 580/587/650/657x/718. So what you're saying is as long as it bolts up it will work fine regardless of what engine it came from? My ski is a 94 xp with 657x.
