How do you keep this thing from porpoising? I ride in a lake but the slightest little wake seems to make it jump in and out of water.
also sometimes when I push the start button nothing happens I don’t hear anything but I push it in and out a few times and then it just starts up. I put new battery and ground cable on it. I was think solenoid or the actual starter button

Adjusting the trim can help a little but that hull is just a porposing machine, it is what it is.

I would check your start switch, sounds like the contacts might be going bad.

How do you adjust trim? my model doesn’t have any that I know of.

I have a 2008 Wake 155, look for the VTS button. Same problem. Mine is stuck in the down position which makes it impossible to trim. At speed it feels like I'm on ice. You can pull out the VTS motor and adjust it neutral or up and it makes it ride way better at speed. Am currently trying to get the VTS to work.

His ski doesn’t have VTS.

I took out the old VTS motor, put in a new one, still would not trim. The trim button on the handle bar doesn't work. So I raised it as high as it will go by hand, runs perfect now. So put in the new VTS motor, sealed it and left it there unplugged.
