89 sp wont shut off ?? Please help

I have a 89 sp that I am working on. The problem is it wont shut off with the tether or the handlebar switch. I have looked thru all the wiring and everything looks right, I have checked grounds and cant find anything, Please help. Let me know what you think.

is the ski running off....or just will not normal shut off? You can also choke it to kill it for now till the problem is found....you will have to inspect the kill switch circuit wiring.

It runs and starts just fine. Neither the Handlebar kill switch or tether will shut it off. I know I can choke it to kill it but thats not so safe. I checked both kill switches and they are both working like they should so im not sure whats causing it. If anyone has any ideas please let me know, Thanks

I have no clue how these kill systems work on these skis as I have not got to looking into one yet, but I would assume it grounds out the coil? I assume you just checked the switch's as if they where properly working in the circuit it would shut down the motor, so if given that they ground out the coil I would trace the wires and the connections.
