So these have gone extinct on earth. Does anyone have any in stock. Ive tried all the usual suppliers. Anyone got one lying around ?or can you recommend a reman, supplier of new or someone to rebuild one? TIA

Check with @hfgreg as they are a supplier of WSM and can give you availably.

To have yours rebuilt, Competitive Crankshafts are about as good as you can get.

Thanks for the reply. I've been in contact with hfgreg. Wsm aren't available at this time. With no eta on when they will be according to his guy.

I went to the WSM site because my supplier was "out of stock" on the WSM 951 Compressor kit. I was able to order the part direct from WSM. I sure hope I can buy crankshafts for the prices I was paying or close to it in the future. The prices are scarey high. As for the crankshafts, I think we're gonna have to go rebuilt on the cranks if the new prices are that high. I was getting new cranks for just a bit more than then the process of buying a rebuilt. Pay shipping, then send yours back, pay shipping and wait. I'd get a new crank in just a few days. I have a new RFI crank I bought last year and have not installed. Good Luck !!

Nobody has WSM crank for 787 rfi right now. Not even WSM. I ordered a new one from FULL BORE paid for it and then talked to a woman there who checked and she can't get them right now either so I'll be waiting until those cans can be docked in California eventually. Hey California....

To be honest I've had problems with sbt in the early 2000s .but for the past ten years I've serviced tons of skis with the sbt dot on the heads and they keep on running granted my season up in new England is short but there quality control is pretty good for an aftermarket engine company.

I wish you luck with FullBore, they are so bad around here we do not recommend them to anyone.

Not only is there a major supply issue, the price on a non-welded crank for a 787 jumped up to well over $700[emoji2962]
Only because "they can." They lost my business. I paid $380 for new cranks 18 months ago. Soon as Seadoo stopped making certain cranks... the price went up and now with all the BS many are on the rape the customer band wagon. Sickening

Agreed. [emoji817]

I have a buddy that offered to rebuild a crankshaft for me about a year ago. When I priced the parts I said never mind. Might have to revisit that. I think the key would be where to get the parts. Might be and interesting project.
