787 performance parts?

The airbox will change your intake pressure so you will likely have problems with your carb setup, needing to change jets and tuning adjustments. Not sure about the exhaust stuff, but these engines are pretty well set up from the factory without leaving much room for improvement.

If they do allow more horsepower, you're putting more strain on a 16 year old engine if it's original. I wouldn't mess with it.
 
:agree: Unless you are into racing and know how the mods will affect your motor, I would leave it stock.

Last week I found out that my throttle wasn't opening all the way, so after I got the carbs back from Dr H. i adjusted the linkage and got a bit more speed out of the ski....you might want to check yours too.
 
Well my motor is supposedly been redone but I have no idea what exactly was done, other than there is evidence that the motor has been apart so something was done. But even so, I think I'll pass I don't want to get into messing around tuning the carbs and such.
