Is it healthy for the engine? I know its only 85 hp, but it didn't seem to strain the engine, no higher reving except when i took off. After we finished tubing, i took it out for a quick run. It smoked a bit on startup and midway during the ride it started to run rreally rough so I killed it, started it back up and it was fine. Could this be because of the tubing?

could be, might have loaded the plugs up, then when no tub'n, burned it off. If tub'n alot, may wanna look into a bigger pitch impellor. You'll lose top end, but, pop out of water no problem, even with tubers..
