720 engine rebuild time,,,any thoughtsss?????/

hi guys, ,,ive got to rebuild my 720 engine ..rod bearing came loose,,,, it is a 98 model and had never been opened b4, so i figure its time and well i simply asking for any an all input,,,, any body heard or had dealings with ses or fullbore as i have not heard good things bout sbt,, what a bout atlantic jet sports, .... or should a guy do this him self,,, an is ther much aftermarket items available,,, and who has themm an as always thanks for the help......... sodafixer
 
You're asking for opinions so here's mine, this comes from personal experience. I would buy a SBT premium engine. I have one in my 95XP 800. SBT sells a great product at a fair price and their 2 year warranty can't be beat. Also if you want to get back in the water this year it's your only option.

Yep... what Lou said.

FullBore is a good shop... but you have to send your engine to them. AND... I know they are backlogged right now. So...there is a good chance that the summer will be over by the time you get your engine back.
 
Two years on my sbt motor...going on three...runs great...np....o yea only $745.00.....rebuild is gonna run close or more for that...
 
My SES engine runs great. This topic has been discussed many times before. Just do a search and you will find lots of info.
