Hi Guys,

I'm not near my boat at the moment, can anyone advise me what length the small oil lines between the oil pump and the inlet manifold are?

I have just ordered some new pipe but I'm worried I don't have enough and as I had to order it online I don't want to find I don't have enough when I try and fit them over the weekend.

Many thanks

Andy

If you replace both it should be a little over a foot, but I'm not at my ski at this moment, I replaced mine a day or so ago

Don't need more than 2 feet of line. Since you in the UK .6 meters.. I knew that metric system thing they told me about in school 30 years ago would pay off.

That's hopefully ok then,

I have 0.63 meters / 2 foot of tygon 4040a which I bought. I'm desperate to get the engines tested in my project but was worried I hadn't bought enough hose.

My oil lines have almost completely disintegrated, all 4 had rotted away and fell off and I have only found the remains of 2. I guess sitting with an engine bay half full of water for 10 years didn't do it any good.

Thanks for the info guys, I have a night off tomorrow and hopefully will get them fitted ready to test the carbs at the weekend. I know the engines run on pre mix dropped down the carb just need to see if the carbs are any good now I have drained the tank.

To answer my own question and to update the thread, 2 foot is about the perfect length for 2 engines.

I had a couple of inches spare although I did cut one pipe a little shorter than I should have.
