587 single carb to dual

Hi guys would love some input I have a 587 single carb and I have a dual carb setup I want to put on.. I know I have to put the 650 pipe on it but I’m stuck on finding actual timing degrees? Any input would be appreciated

THere is no additional performance to be had going to dual carbs. Keep the single, it is easier to tune and maintain.

I have a 84 dual carb 587 with all the same specs and everything is in the same shape and wear and it works much better

I really just want the degrees of the dual carb so I can try it just for piece of mind lol

I assume you mean the rotary valve?
Both single and dual carb 587's use the 147 degree rotary valve.
Rotary timing appears to be the same 130 BTDC, 65 ATDC.
