:hurray:

Bout two hours later she was running on the trailer!!!

Looks great so far, did you clean the block or was it this "shiny" already?
Pictures, pixtures, pics, pixs...we want to see it all rebuilt.

so what did you end up paying for it?

$2500.00 for the ski luckily i bought about $5000.00 worth of us dollars a few weeks back when you guys had your government "BS" goin on. I bought your dollar for 0.82 for one of mine. So the ski really only cost me about $2050.00 CDN. (Your dollar always comes back i do that regulary when the US buck drops.)

The ski was at the shop they installed the timing chain but didn't think to check the head. Obviously it showed up on compression test, so they went back to kelton and said it was going to be more dough. Thats when he peaked out and wanted to sell the ski (he's actually not a bad guy really... He runs his own law office so that's where all the funky vocab was coming from. Anyways ... cost me $320.00 for 6 exhaust valves, $100.00 for 2 exhaust rocker arms and about 36 hours of my time (labour, travel, research). I borrowed my bosses pontiac vibe (it's got a hitch) to head to ohio my avy is brutal on gas. Bout $130.00 in fuel and another $150.00 in lodging and food. I also bought an 11' trailer to go with it for $950.00.

The block was in great condition minus six bent exhaust valves and two cracked exhaust rocker arms. I did clean up the head and pistons (why not it was off right).

I didn't take any pics other than the ones above. Anyways, she's running mint ... hooked on the back of the truck I've got one more phone call to make and I'm bailing outta the office early!!

have a good long weekend guys!

02' Z71 145000 miles; this truck is nearly bulletproof love it ... just hate filling it!

SeadooBuddy here's some pics for yah ... great ski love it. But it's already sold to my neighbor $7200.00 including trailer im using it for the rest of season he's taking it in the spring. His kids put a few hours on it and loved it. He really liked the learning key option.

Nice deal, thats like double your investment. Cant beat that for a junk POS ski. Last time I let the avy get close to E, it cost me $120. I dont drive it much anymore. Its an 05 and only has 52000 miles on it.

That's right...you only have a boat. Hard to pass up selling it though for what you put into it. You could buy another cheap ski and still have $3k-$4k left.
