It’s probably correct. The beauty of the 2-strokes are fewer moving parts and less weight.

Hmmmmm.... why does 6 pounds per horsepower ring a bell from my road race days?? You reduce the weight by 6 pounds you gain another Horsepower. Along those lines, not saying the are "spot on", you'd need another 30hp to match the performance of the lighter ski. My buddy loved the BIG BLOCK Chevys and used to say, "Go bg or go home."... LOL Good luck. The journey will certainly be interesting.

I think the saying today is Go Big, or Go Turbo, or in our case, Supercharger.

the 4-stroke has 25 more HP than the 951. I would think a few mods would do way more than 25 HP!

The 951 with the twin Factory Pipes from the RXX made 160HP.
