??? 35-41volts @ battery!!???

I'm really confused!
I have a 98 GTX Limited that's killing batteries.
I initally thought it was a poor charging condition but when I start the ski then place a voltmeter on the battery terminals I'm getting 36-41 volts!!????
Additionally for some reason the 12 volt low warning is always on???

Any ideas????

I think your unit has a rectifier in it. This changes the high voltage current to 13-14V DC for charging.


Unplug the red wire to the rectifier and test it again. YOu may need a new one... common problem.
