Anyone else have 215 hp supercharged motors that live in winter climates? This will be my first winter with my 09 utopia SE. Any and all winterizing tips are appreciated. Learning the hard way tends to get expensive.

Thanks in advance.

I have done it a couple times, on some 260's and the process looks to be the same as the 215's according to the service manuals. I am gonna find out soon with my new to me 210 challenger.

I would make sure to reference the service manual for you year of boat just to make sure you cover all the bases. It's easy, the first time it's gonna take longer as you learn the process. The biggest pain is changing the oil, only because it needs to be pumped out.

Has anyone relied soley on the Air pressure to clear the intercooler and exhaust as in the 3ft deep video?

I've done that part to my boat but I'm kinda thinking of doing the fill the hoses as well for added protection.

What is the consensus?

I have used air pressure on both my pwcs last year with no problems, that's Sea Doo recommendation in the service manual and it's how my dealer does it. I did it again this year on both my 210 challenger and pwc. I figure there is a reason Sea Doo doesnt want anti freeze in the system.

Thanks for the Feedback...the compressed air idea seems better to me that the dump some antifreeze in where there may be some water idea....I just want to make sure my boat is properly winterized even though only on the coldest days does it freeze in my garage (-40'C)

I will most likely just pop the hoses off and blow out the intercooler as well...it's unlikely that a properly flushed boat has much water in the exhaust manifold.

Anyone else have ideas?
