2018 GTX 300 - submerged underwater for 24 hours

I have a 2018 GTX 300 that got blown off my lift in a storm. The jet ski was upside down in the water for about 24 hours under a nearby dock. When I got the jet ski out of the water I drained all of the water out, took the spark plugs out and got all of the water out of the engine and changed the oil twice.
Now I am ready to try to start it but I get NO fuel into the fuel rail. I suspect the ECM is not working. My neighbor has the exact same jet ski and has told me that I could take his ECM out of his working jet ski and put it in mine to see if that is what is wrong. But when I read some of the service manuals it sounds like the ECM might be programmed for your specific jet ski? Anyone have any suggestions on what steps I should take?

The ECM has a unique number that is for sure. It is also tied up with the key. I am very unsure of what would happen if you switch it. One thing is sure, your neighbor is taking a serious chance by offering you that.

Do you have gauge display on? Did it crank?

There is a guy @Rikky001 that knows a lot about these engines. He may give you a definite answer.

Your manual is very specific about that situation: bring it to the dealer. I would. You are risking the engine.

Yes, the display looks to be working and the engine cranks over but fuel pump is not pumping. I checked all the fuses and they are all good.
Anyone know what I should try next?

File a claim with your insurance company and then take it to a dealer.
It’s probably a total loss.
Please don’t say you don’t have insurance.

I have insurance, the machine was totaled. I bought it back and hope to get it running.
Today i found that the connector into the ECM is completely corroded. So I am sure it is blown. I plan on replacing the ECM and the harness.
Does anyone know what else i should just buy and replace?

Gauge cluster, everything electrical, motor and supercharger need overhauls, and it will never be the same, they total them for a reason. Salt water it’s toast for sure.

Salt water expediates corrosion, and you can see how fast the connectors corrode even in fresh water. Corrosion causes pitting on metal surfaces, bearings and bearing journals don’t last very long when pitted. All friction surfaces in the motor and supercharger should be examined.

Your ski was underwater for 24 hours and still could have water in the motor. Service manual says when a motor is water flooded it needs the water out of the motor immediately or serious damage will result.
