2012 wake 210 -430: Hot Water in the bilge

Thank you very much. I will do that today while on the water.
SO I took the boat out and while my wife was driving looked for leaks in the system. I didn’t see any but, as i now have a functioning auto bilge, it was pumping out lots of water. Also, strangely, the water collects in the ski locker- so hot water in the ski locker???

Also, re. the Ballast system wiring diagram, I do not see the fuse locations and I still cannot find them on my boat - it’s the 210 wake factory installed system. I find the ground bus but no fuses????

I found the water source. There was a small hole about the side of a penny in the low spot of the exhaust can where the water collects. Ive made a temporary patch until i can have it properly welded. I still cand figure out why water was collecting in the ski locker and why it doesn’t drain out???

Should be a small hole in the rear of the locker that drains into the engine compartment bilge. Have you tried snaking this hole?

You should look to determine if you exhaust can was installed improperly with the large flex hose. Mine was rubbing the inside of the engine compartment because of this. I had it welded.

Yes there is a whole with what looks like a PVC pipe that someone added. I did snake a bit but was afraid to probe too hard at the gas tank is just behind there i believe???

Will do. Thank you.

The exhaust can patch seems to be holding and no hot water leaking in the boat. The Bilge and auto feature are working fine but, I still get standing water in the ski locker that wont drain. I did snake the hole and no luck. Any Thoughts?

Check the carbon ring seals as this is one of the most common leak points. Because they’re more forward than exhaust parts chances are it is here (water in locker). The water would be hot because it would be passing through a gap that is incredibly hot and then heated by passing under and around the engines. The seals have a black boot around them and are somewhat tough to see. I’d start here on the new search. Also, where the steering and reverse lines pass through the rear of the boat, sometimes those plastic pieces on the outside fail and the sealant inside leaks. Also check there. I have been having this same issue but mine happened once and I to this day haven’t had another leak but also never fixed anything because I couldn’t find a source.

In the absence of finding the leak, just make sure your bilge pump works and maybe buy a plug in spare.

Thank You for the reply. For clarity, the water that i now get in the ski locker is no longer hot - rather just water from washing or entering the boat from wave spray. There is a deck drain that empties into the ski locker. But the water doesn’t drain from the ski locker.

Got it. On my 210, the pass through from locker to rear drain wasn’t really open from the factory. I bought a stick of 1/2” PVC and literally shoved it through and broke up the fiberglass remnants. I left the pvc there to ensure it stays open for good. After doing that my locker drains fine. Just make sure you pitch up your jack stand as high as possible.

The previous owner must have already done that on my boat. There is a 1” pvc pipe in the hole which I’ve cleaned and toyed with - but still won’t drain. I assume there is a clog ov debris somewhere lower in the system. There seems to be a blind spot between the engine compartment and the ski locker behind the fuel tank. I also snaked a hose with power Mosel through as far as I could and it just built up more water. It will drain overnight slowly and I can bill it’s out so not debilitation but frustrating nonetheless.

BTW, is your a 210 Wake? If so can you tell me where the fuses for the 6 ballast pumps are, 4 of them are not working and I can’t find the fuses foe the life of me
