I have a 2012 GTX that has a new steering cable. I took it out and found the steering alignment a bit off to the left. Surprisingly, when I turn to the far right or far left the rpm’s are increasing by about 750-1000 rpm’s with no throttle. I know these throttles are electronic so I am not sure how this is happening. I plan on using the big adjuster by the bottom of the steering column to fix the alignment, but am still a bit baffled by the rpm increase with no throttle. Any thoughts?
