I have a 2012 challenger 210 (single engine) and my boat pulls to the left. It's also hard to turn to the right at higher speeds. I can't find anything on the net about how to adjust the steering cable. I'm pretty sure I have a good idea, but I'd love some actual documentation or a video. Can anyone help with that please?

There are two places to adjust the steering. The back at the nozzle, and at the rack in the console (behind the steering wheel).

The rack is attached to the pinion from the bottom w/ 4 bolts.

What I did to adjust mine:

1) center steering wheel, then decide where you want the final center to be. Leave the steering wheel at that position.

2). Remove bolts and drop rack from pinion.

3). Center steering wheel

4) bolt pinion back into place.

5. Check steering.

While I had the rack down, I also used a bungee cord to hold it up and flooded it with Seadoo lube and waited overnight to let the lube flow into the cable connected to the rack. Seemed to help some, but was a little messy.

Also, put a life jacket or pillow down, as you'll have to wedge yourself into the console to get to those bolts.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help... I adjusted it from the nozzle and I'm hoping that's enough. If not... I'll try from the rack. Thanks again!
