Hello all, I am all new to this site but I would like to be able to use this wealth of knowledge to help me save time and money at the dealer.

So here is a small issue i am having with my speedster 200 steering.

It has been sitting up all winter then when i go to use it the steering has a ton of play. It takes a lot to actually turn this monster. It was never like that before. Any tips or tricks to help with this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Open latch remove cooler slowly go lock to lock while observing the steering mech might just have come loose. If all is looking good under helm then check the starboard side pump. This is the pump the steering cable is connected to. You will need someone to turn the wheel to each lock for this. I don't recall there being any adjustment with steering cable so if it isn't loose at helm or pump you might be looking at a new cable.
