Hi I found one for 6600. 197 hours. He says he has papers to show supercharger was rebuild.

Anything I should know about? Good deal?

I will also be allowed to water test it.

OH and it does not come with a trailer.

Thanks.

Even with papers on the SC, the key is WHEN was it rebuilt? If its been 100 hours and or more than 2 years it will need rebuilt again.
Look at the HIN of the ski, confirm it is a 2007. In 2008 the RXT had a tunnel issue due to thin fiberglass.

Ok so with a non supercharger. I just do basic maintenance? Just asking to see if Evey two years I have to spend 650.00 just to rebuild.

EVERY marine item requires general maintenance. 4-tech skis normally get the oil changed every 5o hours and or end of the season. Very common for fresh water skis to got a few years and not changes the oil as they can only ride about 3 months out of the year.

Fresh water and salt water riding is MUCH different as far as what needs t be done mostly after riding for the day. Flush, full wash, spray engine down with fluid film or some other protectant ect ect..

This site rebuilds the SC for $450 and the includes using only OEM parts and return shipping.

I just paid 4100 for my seadoo RXT 2006 without a trailer. 155 hours and supercharger rebuilt last year. See if they can come down on price for you. During test, look for max rpm of 8120 or so and no cavitation from the whole shot.

Yea so around the same in price. Just not liking to rebuild every two years. As if I get one without a SC no rebuild.

Yeah, it's a necessary evil. Just to play devils advocate, I had a 2003 seadoo gtx SC 185, it didn't have a rebuilt charger till around 300 hours and now has almost 400... Do I recommend that, no but a lot of people don't rebuild them if they have the steel washers already until they start loosing max rpm or can tell its slipping.

There is a substantial difference in power and performance between a SC and a non-SC ski. I own one of each and probably always will. But I can promise I will always own a SC ski for sure. They are simply amazing. Very large stable platform with fantastic performance..
