My '07 GTI will not beep or turn over. The relay does click and it says welcome aboard and the indicators blink for a few seconds when I plug the key in, but the start button does nothing. The starter works when I jump the solenoid. It was crashed and the hull was filled with water a few months ago, and this morning it was turning over with the start button and I removed the spark plugs to get pooled oil out, but after a lunch break it is non-functional. The battery is good and fully charged. Attached is a video showing what it does when the key is plugged in.
