I just purchased a 2006 Utopia 205 SE in rather exceptional condition. Boat was pulled after every use and was kept in a garage. Engines have 267 hours and the boat was inspected by a dealer 2 months ago. Compression was 185 to 195 in all cylinders, although I am re-testing that tonight. Also replacing the plugs.
On my first time out, I noticed the right engine was about 4K slower than the right at WOT. They are basically identical at idle also get a loud beep after I start it. How does the sync work? Is it regulated by ECU? Is the failure to synch the reason for the beep?
Once I confirm compression and plugs are good, where do I go from there?
