Hello all! First post here at the forum. I am a 35 yr old male from good ol Wyoming! My family and I are proud new owners of a 2006 Utopia 205. Amazing deal we got on it I must say!! I really like the boat so far as it sits in the driveway. Waiting for it to quit snowing to take her out! Well while I am waiting, I am doing some upgrades to her.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the port (passenger) side black dash off? I am going to use this area as a subwoofer enclosure. I took out the stock deck and there is some way it is still attached in the back. I don't know if it is a typical pop-pin type fastener you find in cars alot or something else. I don't want to pry on it without knowing for sure in fear of breaking it. Anyone have any idea or a parts diagram breakdown of that area so I can see what I cant see right now??
I was also wondering if anyone knows what the alternator ratings are for this boat? I seen on the Seadoo site it lists 30 Amps. Is that total? or is that 30 Amp per motor? I sure hope that it is per motor. If it isn't, how can I get that to 70-100 amps?
I already have a second battery I am going to install in the boat with a battery isolator I already have, but I will need some juice to drive the system I want to drive.
Looking forward to getting to know you all! Thanks
