I have a broken spoke on the paddlewheel and get no reading on the speedo gauge. Need it for the perfect pass. I see two different speed sensors in the parts catalog. One looks like the through hull (ELECTRICAL - SPEED CONTROL/PERFECT PASS #11 - ~$377) and the other is a small triangular looking thing with a wire(ELECTRICAL - SENSORS #20 ~$132). I haven't been able to get the dratted thing out of the boat to see which one(s) I need. Is there a good way to get that locking nut off the through hull part? Thanks for any help!

If it's that critical... get a GPS and mount it to the dash. The SeaDoo speedo's aren't very accurate.

Unfortunatly... I'm not sure what sender you need. Post a link to the parts explosion you are looking at.

$25 fix

The paddlewheel with axle and o-rings cost $25. I got 2. They need to be ordered from Perfect Pass. They explained the whole process. Not nearly as complicated as I had thought. Once you take off the top plastic nut, the whole sending unit with the paddlewheel on the bottom will slide out. I eased it out with gentle pressure using pliers to pull. Push the axle pin out which releases the old paddlewheel (note which way the paddles face for the new one), position the new wheel and slide the new axle pin in. replace the two o-rings on the unit, slide it in and seat it in the only position that it will stay in place and replace the plastic locking nut.
