Hi, Im new to the site so I will try to describe my issue as best as possible.
First I am on my 3rd battery. The first was put on a trickle charger over the winter which turned out to be a bad charger, and it ruined the battery. I found this out in the summer, when using the jet ski. It would at first start fine, but after using it a while, it would not start. I would get the beeps, push the start button, the motor would turn over maybe once or twice, but barely and then not start. Well I replaced the battery, and within 6 mos, i was having the same issue. That battery was under warranty, so i took the jet ski to my dealer, and he checked it out. They said they did not know what the issue was because the battery was fine, it was charging fine when the jet ski was running, they did not know what was the issue. They replaced the battery though, just to be safe. Well, I now have the issue again. I was out riding it this weekend, stopped, switched riders, and then it would do the same thing. Push the start button, it would turn over maybe once, maybe twice, sometimes not at all. I let it sit for about 45 minutes while i looked for someone to give me a jump, i pushed the start button, the starter turned over maybe 10 times and then it fired up. It probably was flooded from trying to get it started, but it was like the battery was fine, but i took it out of the water as soon as i got it running.
To me it seems odd that i could have this many battery issues, without it being caused by something else. I just dont want to get stuck out on lake erie anymore. Hope someone can help. Sorry for the long post, just wanted to describe everything as best as i can.
