2006 GTX SC No Crank nor beep, need advice

MY 2006 GTX SC has been running fine all summer, i washed it, waxed it, put it up in the barn for 2 weeks, went to take it out to the river, put DESS key in, nothing, battery is good, checked all connections, nothng. What it does, is i put my key in, fuel pump turns on, display comes up, then it all goes blank. Key stays in..15 seconds later does the same. Any Advice wld be greatly appreciated.

Be sure the battery is in good condition. It could have a full charge and still not have all its cells. If a battery loses 1 r 2 cells it won't have the amps to fire up the engine or the guages. I would get it LOAD checked at like Auto Zone, and check the battery wires to be sure they are clean and getting a good connection. Check the ground to going to the starter area also for a good clean connection. You didn't say if it got 2 beeps with the dess on the lanyard. Clean the dess cap and post too with soap and water. Don't use anything on it, just clean it and dry it off. It might be dirty and not getting a good connection either causing it not to communiciate to the ECM.

I didnt get any beeps at all, just when i put the key on the lanyard, it displays for a second, then cuts off. No beeps, checked the beeper, it ok cond, hint the ski was running all summer, sat for 2 weeks then tried to fire up, nothing.

Yes i did. battery is good, i took the battery out of another of our jet skis and it did the same. I have read that if you ride in salt water the post can go bad, is this true?
