for starters its a 250 optimax had it in the water idling fine went to accelerate and it basically choked out and would not restart took it to the marine shop. they had it all last summer and could not fix it they checked all fuel filters and pumps. changed a few things so the fuel side of its is fine along with the spark side it turns over and some times seems like it wants to start i was told since the motor will not start its hard for them to diagnose it does not have any codes before it broke i had replaced the secondary oil reservoir when i started it had a beeping sequence so i googled it and i kept reading about break in procedure. i then had to replace the speedometer but i used a basic mechanical speedo will either of those have anything todo with it not starting ?
