The thing darts slightly left or right. Very wrong. When I drive straight the handle bars are turned right to about 1:30 or 2:00. I just bought this 3 seater. The mechanizm in the back seem to have some play but not sure if it's normal. Should I take it to the dealer or is there a guide out there?

if dont mind, get'n hit for 200 buks for new cable, and 100 buks, for install'n it...
Undo the cable from nozzle, put nozzle strate, then adjust the "heim" fitting accordingly...have wifey, neighbors wife..etc, hold handlebars strate, so doesnt get out of aligned when adjust'n...

Thanks for the input. What your saying would explain why the bars aren't straight when I'm going straight. Do you think that that is what is responsible for the thing having a mind of it's own sometimes too? You can also get me at dalter@dli.com....thanks again.

The adjustment collar is under the steering column and can be accessed by removing the panel in the storage compartment. I bought an 02 with the same issue. At first I was looking at the back, but after paying for premium, I looked at the repair book. You can adjust it under there. It will be black plastic and about 21/2 inches in diameter. Undo the locknut and turn it one way or the other and watch the nozzle pointing while doing so. Try and keep the handlebars straight.
