Good Evening,
Got the 05 out of the Garage and onto the Lake several times now. It ran great. However, I kept finding water and oil in the bilge after it set for a bit. I thought I might have a leak, so I pulled the oil tank and checked all the hoses and fittings for any sign of 2 Cycle Oil, but found nothing from the Engine or Hoses.
I found water and oil leaking out of the holes that were drilled into the bilge to hold the cable stays. I attached a few pics. I am guessing the liquids are trapped between the hull and interior bilge wall. I used air to blow anything from the higher hole towards the stern.
My question is has anyone seen this before? And, if so, did you have to caulk or fill the holes or something else like fill with the void with foam?
Like I said, the oil tank was full and the amount of time we put on it would have produced some affect or Low Oil indication.
Thanks, Geeorge
