2005 C180 215 - CEL and Steering Issue

It’s weird that yours does that at slower speeds. Below 20 my boat turns on a dime, just at higher speeds where it doesn’t want to hold a turn.
I’ll probably replace mine next season as well. Already spent about $3000 since last summer so I’m tapped out. Rebuilt supercharger, new wear ring and Solas impeller plus numerous electrical issues.

Well I guess I just meant crossing a wake at a shallow angle. I notice if I have a strong crosswind I need almost full steering deflection to keep a straight line, especially from the left. With no wind I have no issues turning. I don't like I can hear the cable flopping around in the hull though......

I'm in the same boat with the $$$. This year I've already spent over 1500 on an external intercooler, amp and new decals. I would like to do the upholstery and add some hydro turf too.

Thanks for the info. I’ll pay attention to the wind from now on to see if it corresponds with the direction it’s blowing. Good luck and happy boating this summer
