2004 Sportster 4-tec throttle cable

Hello everyone ...we just bought a new sportster 2004...and the throttle cable is loose at the back compartment...I been trying to find the manual since the throttle lever won't go all the way to full...it stop like a 3/4" ...but no luck on the manual...I see a bunch of the jetskis but no the boat...can someone help...thank you
