2004 Seadoo GTX, 4-stroke, non-supercharged
1494 cc displacement, 4-stroke, 3 cylinders, fuel injected
Includes single trailer with bearings repacked a month or two ago.
Registration current (and in my name)
Goes into limp mode after ~15 minutes, with only P1517 error code displayed. This code is "compass out of range" and from when the battery is dead/removed for a long period of time. I thought battery was bad, but found out my charger was bad and have since charged the battery and had it tested at Autozone, battery is fine. Starts quickly and runs great until it hits limp mode.
I've been working on it when when I have time and will continue to do so, but my time is extremely limited. I have a brand new compass module on hand, plus I've gone through the connectors and checked for oxidation/sprayed all with Deoxit... will water test once I get the compass module in. Next up after that will be the oil pressure sensors (I think those are the real issue).
Will sell cheap at $1600 _FIRM_ until I figure this out; pick up in North Alabama.
