Do you have the service manual? Happy to email you a copy. Was hoping your issue was the same as mine. Sorry I don't have other advice to offer at the moment.

Also, I went out and bought the Mercury Vesselview. To me it was worth the cost as it's basically a technician terminal for personal use. When connected it lists off the faults in your motor.

It was a lifesaver for me and pointed me to my oil reservoir issue. Also has other features to justify the cost. Maybe able to find used as well.

It's all figured out!!!!
Between changing the sensors and replacing the oil reservoir. All alarms are off. No more limp mode. Running great!!!!
Now that everything is fixed lol lost some of my confidence. Tons of new parts so it's basically new again lol
Thinking of selling.

I hear you about the confidence thing. Really shakes you and makes you wonder how far you can take your boat out but you just had to roll with punches and giv'er until she goes again. When that happens you'll do what we all do, bust out another thousand.
