2003 GTX shudders when accelerating

My 2003 GTX Ltd Supercharged acts as if someting is blocking the pump. On acceleration the revs are up but power is down and the unit shudders. This does dissapate but then reoccurs.The impeller and pump seem free of obstacles.

Check your wear ring that could be the problem..... clerance is .035mm. im putting one in mine this week, it would rev high and take a long time to speed up...

Here is more information on the wear ring;

This is the specs for the wear ring clearence;

Wear Ring clearance for ALL 4-tec engines is 0.035mm or (.014in) Measure the clearance at the center of the impeller blades, with a 12” long gauge. Measure the clearance from the venturi side of the jet pump.
