2002 Seadoo LRV

Hi There, Can someone help me out. I bought the PWC and took it out today. Came with a 1/2 tank of gas. The problem I am having.

1. When I give it gas it runs ruff until I hit 20 mph then it flys ???
2. After 1 hour and heading back to the car the max MPH it will go is 10 mph ???

The PWC has only 37 hr's / New Battery / New spark plugs

What do you guy's think it could be

1) It's a 2-stroke with power valves... so... it may run rough until

a) The engine warms up/clears out.
b) The valves open

2) THat's not good.

a) Does the buzzer work? It's also your over temp warning
b) Do you have any warning messages on the display? (I think low fuel will put it into "Limp mode")

1. When the key gets placed it does the normal beep.
2. No warning buzzer (All Mode looks fine)
3. Though out the hour driving I would check (Engine Temp) 88-93 even when it went into Limp mode Engine TEMP 89
4. Has 1/2 Tank gas ( I do not know how old could be the gas)

I just bought it and 1st time out and this happens (Bummer !!!)

Any help would be great
