2002 Seadoo GTI LE Running issue.

Runs on trailer, but not in water. It did run enough for me to get all the way thru the break in period.

New SBT motor, New Stator, New Gaskets, Rebuilt Carb, Fresh machined to spec rotary valve cover, timing set perfect.

So it did run in the water, but now will not? Have you checked the compression since it started giving you problems? How much run time does the motor have on it now?

Put a good compress gauge on it and see where you’re at. It’s rare, but it’s possible that your rings didn’t seat well during break in... Luckily you’re still under warranty on that SBT motor, so check it now and get the ball rolling on a replacement if it is in fact low compression...
