2002 rxdi has vibration

sucked rock in water intake. cleared rock that was broken into 3 pieces and know ski has bad vibration. what can be the cause of this vibration?

wear ring and or impeller damage

in an extreme case I have seen it also tear/break a motor mount that way. Got to think of it this way that rock is not forgiving....with the rock in there and no room something will have to give. When it hit your impeller and became 3 pieces it most likiley chipped bent the impeller and chewed up your wear ring. Go to the aft of your ski look in your pump housing for damage.

how much should you expect to pay depends on the damage if just the wear ring and the impeller is not chipped you will get away under $100 and some cussing here and there if you do it yourself, if the impeller is chipped or bent a question of how much should not be asked the impellers are not cheap most on average new go for around $300 just for the impeller. Anything marine spells money.

Its not that hard to fix, search the forum and you will find all the info you need to do the job right.
