I have a 2002 RX DI Seadoo. I want to sell it but remembered the mode and set buttons do not work. It never bothered me but any buyer wants to know the correct hours on the ski. Has anyone changed this part out? The speedometer also does not work. Sometimes however, it will shoot up and go back down when Im on the ski going fast. The info gauge works fine. Thanks

Open up the handlebar cover and check things out. Those buttons rarely fail unless you have rodent damage or someone yanked a wire right out of a switch.
They are also hardwired to the main harness if I remember correctly on that model. I do however have some that have a connector on them and can supply you with the other pins and connector so you could cut the old one out and install the new one with OEM connectors.
