2002 GTX 787 RFI has 130 hrs, gone through front to back, new rotary seal as leaking a bit, unbelievable condition. I don't know much about RFI, but I've read its MUCH better than the dreaded DI> any truth to this??

2000 RX 951 has 100 hrs, I believe its the carbed version not DI (i read DI is nothing but problems), I've read nothing but bad things about the 951 but it is fast.

Any thoughts????

I think you are prob better off with the RFI. Im of the thought the 951 isnt a great motor compared to the 800. The RFI could send you to the dealership needing to plug in to figure out a problem, but overall they are great machines.

The RFI just edges the 951 IMO.

seems to me, all different models have certain little problems, just as cars also do, i like an rfi , no choke to mess with, just put key on and hit start and go, mine had some problems, after straightning out , has been trouble free almost a year now, and we use alot here in fla. make sure compression is good, and these skis need a real good battery, (to work fuel inj. system) -- some like carbs, some like fuel inj., question -- (would you buy another car with a carb on it ??? -- unless it was a classic ?? )
