Problem: When idling for a while, slow speed (working with beginer skiers...), it sputters and stalls. I have to wait for a while (20-30 minutes) and then I can get it started. Its kinda like a vapor lock issue, but I dont think thats possible with a DFI!
- This happend the first run and second run after storage.
- It was stored with little fuel and lots of stabyl - did the witches brew in the filter.
- I put 20 gallons of fuel in this year - regular. I think I burned through about ten this year.
- It always turns over fine. Runs fine when running.
- No overheat alarm, but I do have one fault history for head overtemp, but no new ones.
- To Summerize, put in new fuel filter - air filter looked good.
- Cooling water is coming out the Pee hole.
- Last run last year, nearly ran it dry of oil - the little bottle was still full, light never came on - added a few gallons of merc opti semisynthetic.
My thoughts - but I need help....
1) Bad/water in fuel - I will fill it to the max with High Octane, add several drygas bottles, drain the water separator.
2) Could I have cooling blockage somewhere???
