2001 GTX800 Injection, engine runs good when not in water only water hose connected(or not), but when you put in water at idle speed after 30sec to a minute rpm drops and engine stalls, can restart engine but same thing happens. If i start and put it in forward/reverse and give throttle i can go around and have a good ride but if i stop it does the problem. any clues???? thanks

What is your idle RPM out of the water VS In the water? Ski should be able to hold 1500 RPM idle in the water. How old is the fuel? Have you pulled the choke out a bit to see if it improves or makes it worse? I'd replace the spark plugs and put the ski in the water to do some testing, noting what is happening.
First thing I'd check would be the battery and engine compression. Make sure the rave valves are not sticking. Next I'd look at the carbs. Good Luck !!
