2001 GTX rebuilt top end, but ate another piston after 1 tank of fuel

Yep, the manual says 1 liter to the first tank, so that would work out pretty close to the 50:1 ratio. Air is out of the line to the pump and oil flows nicely so as soon as it cranks over it should be pulling it in.

Nothing else new yet, still waiting for parts.

Welp, I got the new throttle cable in and pump back together. Fired it up on the hose and ran it for about 2-3 minutes to make sure of no leaks and all seemed good. Took it to the lake and took it for some break in rides and all went good with only a couple of minor things.

First 15-20 minutes was about 25% throttle max, just enough to stay on plane at about 20mph. Ran flawless. Second run was about 15-20 minutes again, max of 25-28mph, ran great again. 3rd was a max of about 35mph and so on. On the last run of the day I could cruise at about 40mph without any issue, but I did a couple of short 1-2 second full throttle bursts and it had good power, but after I back off it would start hesitating and losing power. I could ease up to about half throttle and it would slow all the way to about 25mph or so. If I hold it there, after about 15-20 seconds power would start increasing and I would be back up to 35ish again. It almost acted like it had to catch up with fuel, but i'm thinking maybe a plug was trying to foul due to the extra oil coming in during the 1-2 sec full throttle + the premix in the tank. I also noticed a slight stumble if at or slightly above idle and you goose it to ~75% throttle too quickly. Figured that might be an accelerator pump issue since that diaphram isn't in the standard carb rebuild kit.

When I pulled the plugs, the outer metal was still really clean and the electrode was dark, kinda an oily black. Not extreme, but about what i would expect for as little of runtime as I had and since I was just checking after getting back to shore to make sure things looked right. So, my guess is maybe the oil is trying to foul the plugs at the high end of the throttle? I may not really know until I can go full throttle for a longer time though. So far I used a little past half a tank of fuel so I can't really tell for sure yet.
