2000 Seadoo Islandia Possible water Leak through fountain drain?

Hello, I just purchased a 2000 Seadoo Islandia. After 1 night on the dock I checked on it in the am and the front fountain, front storage unit and engine compartment all had water in it. I noticed that the drain hose for the front fountain is not connected to anything in the fountain area. Is that drain below water level when docked? Could water be coming in that drain hole? There is also no plug in the fountain. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I believe that storage unit just drains into the engine bilge,,,take a garden hose,,,and run water through it,,,you should see water emptying into the engine bilge.

Yes, I believe it does. I'll have to get it in the water this weekend and get in the storage compartment with a flashlight to see if I can see it coming in anywhere.
