My 2000 GTX Millennium was running great until the kids rolled it over and the sled filled with water.
After many hours of bailing water and flushing the cylinders, the engine runs great again. However at full throttle it only goes 10 mph

No warning messages, No beeps.
All looks and sounds normal except no speed

Help please

Thank you

This sled has fuel injection. Does that matter?
Since the water travels up the muffler when turned the wrong way, could it be something in the muffler?

Acts like there is a govener on it

Thanks

Kevin

Since you say all looks and sounds good, but no speed, it makes me think the engine is running OK, but the propulsion train is bad.

Pull the grate off, measure the ring/impeller clearance. I have seen Aluminum houseings corrode and swell, causeing the ring to bind, even stop a prop from
turning. Minimum clearance on a Doo is .007. If .040 its cavitateing = bad.

You didn't mentioned whether or not you replaced the plugs.
You need to change the spark plugs as well. I experienced the same issue after rolling mine. I forgot to change the spark plugs and the results were the same as yours. Once I changed them, everything was fine.

Also, did you check the compression on your cylinders? If they're very low, you won't have much power. Ideal is 150psi, and you want both cylinders to be within 10psi of one another.
