Hello all, first post here. Before I get flamed, yes I searched and no I didn't find what I was after.
I am considering the purchase of a 2000 RX DI. The owner has informed me that it has an electrical problem but she seems clueless as to what it might be and as of this posting I haven't seen nor started this machine other than pictures. So, this brings me to you guys.
What does the DI stand for? also what kind of problems are common or to be expected with this particular machine? I previously had both a '97 GTX, and a '97 XP or XPS...something like that. The smaller one never ran after the first day and so was quite a disappointment. I would like to prevent this from happening again.
I really need to get myself back on the water this summer, I am good with mechanics (self) and am not against taking it to a shop if necessary. I would liek to get all the info I can before I commit to this purchase...thoughts?
and BTW...good to meet all of you!
